Marketing Strategy

Our group has thoroughly analyzed Cancer Services' current marketing strategies and have come to the conclusion that there are changes that need to be made. Our strategy specifically focuses on revitalizing the Cancer Services logo, and updating and modernizing the current website and social media content to appeal more to their current and potential clients and donors.

We decided to create an email template, which will serve as a basic template for contacting and attracting new members to Cancer Services. It will be useful in reinforcing our strong relationship within the community organization and creating a bond with our clients. From there we will establish a relationship that will hopefully blossom into a donor relationship down the road.

Digital

This graphic was designed by our team to be featured as a paid ad for Instagram. This ad poses a question meant to intrigue viewers and hopefully encourages them to click on the link, which will direct them to the Cancer Services website. This ad really plays upon the idea that we are all neighbors and that anyone would help a neighbor.

PR

After browsing through the Cancer Services website, we noticed that Cancer Services is hosting a "Handbag Bingo" Fundraiser on Thursday, December 3, 2020. To further promote this event, we decided to create a press release that outlines the details of the event!

Logo

When we initially looked at the Cancer Services website and social media pages, we noticed that the current logo is green, which is the color that actually represents liver cancer. Individuals visiting the website or social media pages may see the green logo and confuse this as a non-profit that is specific to liver cancer patients/survivors. With this in mind, we decided to create a logo that is more inclusive and eliminates the potential for confusion. A light purple ribbon, as depicted in the new logo designs below, is said to holistically represent all cancers.
